Crouch Engineering Creates Construction Management Division
Nashville, TN – Crouch Engineering, a national railway engineering firm, announced today that has created a Construction Management Division to provide its clients with professional services from the design phase thru completion of construction.
Company officials announced that Scott Vick, PE will be the Director of the new Construction Management Division. Mr. Vick is a former Vice President at Tetra Tech, where he led their International Construction Group. Mr. Vick brings more than 26 years of construction and project management experience. Along with the addition of Mr. Vick, the Construction Management Division has added construction project manager, project control engineering, and construction support staff.
Crouch Engineering officials expect to broaden the company’s presence in the design-build industry, and widen its customer base. In addition to track and bridge design for major capital improvement projects for Class 1 and short line railroads across the U.S., Crouch Engineering will now manage the construction of projects designed by Crouch Engineering, serving as the owner’s representative.
According to Mr. Vick, the new Division will permit Crouch Engineering to offer design-build capabilities in the railroad industry, serving sectors including mining, power generation, fuels, oil and gas distribution mid-stream and down-stream, agriculture, automotive, building products, railcar repair shops, and more. As Crouch Engineering continues to grow, it is able to offer quality, cost effective design, preliminary construction services, and construction management services from being the general contractor to supporting clients needing time critical solutions to railroad construction projects.
As a result of the development of the Construction Management Group, Crouch Engineering has just entered into a three-year contract for the construction of a new, 18-mile long railroad main line project in the southeastern US.
